BANDA ACEH – Five of Aceh young entrepreneurs will leave for Malaysia to attend the ASEAN Student Entrepreneurship Network (ASENet) at the University of Science Malaysia, Penang from 20 until 23 January this year.
Acehnese youth delegation consisting of Rezka Kenara Bintang Putra, T Sultan Mulya, Yopi Pernando, Reza Septian, and Nabila Mariska Iskandarsyah.
According to Rezka Kenara one of the participants, the students who qualify for this program is already qualified on student entrepreneurship program that held few month ago at Syiah Kuala University.
”Actually each of us have our own businesses,” he said.
Kenara himself have aromas coffee soap business in Banda Aceh, while some other is engaged in services, raising poultry and software development business.
“Sultan and Nabila engaged in services, while Yopi involved in raising Kalasan type of poulty, and Reza in software development bussiness,” he added.
According to Kenara, ASEAN regional forum is focusing on the field of entrepreneurship.
It is hoped that through this activity the youth will strengthen their network in the field of entrepreneurship, especially among universities in Southeast Asia.
Besides participating for the seminar event they are also given space by the committee to display their products from Aceh at a booth.
“We will also introduce a brand originally from Aceh, such as Piyoh Design, Ija kroeng, Minyeuk Pret, Coffee Cho, Glory Travel, Saboon coffee and some others, “he mentioned.
